The Plantronic Blackwire 5220 USB Type-A Stereo Headset is a complete audio solution for the home or office. This headset features both 3.5mm and USB Type-A connectivity options, so you can use it with a variety of computers and mobile devices, thanks to the removable inline control. The Blackwire can unplug from it and be used as a pair of headphones, or a headset, for any 3.5mm-compatible device. Reconnect to regain access to the remote, and USB Type-A connectivity with a desktop or laptop computer.

The Blackwire 5220 headset has been designed for all day use, which is why it features a cushioned metal headband for durability and comfort, as well as leatherette ear cushions, which fold flat for easy storage. When using them all day, you can jump back and forth between calls and other audio, like your favorite music, thanks to the Dynamic EQ. Dynamic EQ automatically adjusts and optimizes the audio settings between phone calls and multimedia.

Noise-Canceling Microphone
When you need to switch to an important call, the built-in flexible boom microphone works to mask nearby talkers and ambient noise for maximum privacy and clarity.
Inline Remote
When using the inline remote, you gain additional control over your audio experience. Use it to call or end phone calls, mute the microphone, and adjust the earpad volume up and down.
Hearing Protection
SoundGuard DIGITAL technology is designed to protect your hearing against sound levels above 118 dBA. Anti-Startle is activated during calls to detect, and eliminate, any large, sudden increase in signal level. With the downloadable Plantronics Hub software, Time-Weighted Average prevents average daily noise exposure from exceeding 85 dBA, and additional low level protection limits peak levels to 102 dBA.
