This unit performs call recording for 4 extensions. The unit connects to the extensions in the backroom and then to a USB port on a PC. Up to 12 call loggers can be connected to a single PC so that 48 calls may be monitored simultaneously. The PC must support 12 USB ports. If more than 48 extensions
need to be monitored then more PCs must be added. All recordings can be managed by a single supervisor who can choose where on the network to store the calls, listen, forward, save and delete.

We recommend that you store your calls on the same host PC. Using the GSM 6.10
Compression option, each 1Gb of Hard disk storage will allow approximately 168 hours
of call recording.
Storage locations are selected using the NEC Back office CD included with the 4-port logging unit. Using the GUI, each device is easily mapped to a storage folder. It is recommended that all calls are stored on the same PC. However, if a network drive is used, you should choose a folder location on the local PC to buffer calls. This will allow the application to run and store calls even if the network is down temporarily.
